Video of the DNC J6 pipe b*mber most have never seen challenges FBI version.

A yearlong investigation found doctored evidence and shows the intended bomb targets were not where the devices were found.

A yearlong investigation by video engineer “Armitas” challenges the FBI’s narrative surrounding the January 6, 2021, pipe bombs found at the DNC and Capitol Hill Club.

In a 26-page report submitted to a House subcommittee, Armitas alleges the bombs were part of a possible government-orchestrated hoax, citing digitally altered FBI video evidence, inconsistencies in the devices’ design, and a timeline suggesting the DNC bomb was retrieved and re-placed to avoid early detection.

The report raises questions about the suspect’s actions, law enforcement’s response, and the unresolved case, which has seen no arrests despite a $500,000 reward.

A detailed analysis of the Jan. 6 pipe bombs found new problems with the FBI evidence and advances the notion that the case could turn out to be a government-created hoax.

A video engineer who spent more than a year examining the pipe bomb evidence submitted the report to the House Select Subcommittee to Investigate the Remaining Questions Surrounding Jan. 6.

Post-Jan. 6, 2021:

  • FBI Investigation
FBI and MPD offer a $500,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. No arrests are made. A geofence warrant for cellular data at bomb sites yields corrupt FirstNet data for law enforcement devices.
  • March 2025
Armitas begins working with an FBI special agent on a forensic re-examination of the case.
  • Oct. 4, 2025
Armitas, a video engineer known as “Armitas,” is asked by House Judiciary Committee counsel to submit a 26-page report to Rep. Barry Loudermilk’s House Select Subcommittee.
  • Oct. 7, 2025
Armitas submits the report, alleging FBI video evidence was digitally altered (cropped, reduced frame rate, out-of-sync angles) and suggesting the DNC bomb was retrieved and re-placed to avoid early detection. The report claims the pipe bombs’ design (upside-down dials, misoriented timers) and handling suggest a possible government-orchestrated hoax.
